Lunchtime Lineup Reveal to Debut 2018 Concerts in the Park Season

Free event in downtown to give first peek of Sacramento’s favorite summer music festival


SACRAMENTO, CALIF. (Mar. 14, 2018) – Sacramento’s most anticipated music announcement will be revealed during a free lunchtime event called Lunch + Launch at Cesar Chavez Plaza, Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following last year’s epic reveal, Lunch + Launch will offer a first look at the impressive lineup of nationally touring artists and regional musical talents taking the stage during the 2018 season of Concerts in the Park.

The lunchtime event includes a uniquely interactive display for the first time blending the arts with technology for the annual lineup reveal. Downtown office workers, students, residents, music fans and more are encouraged to take a break from work and head to downtown Sacramento’s greatest outdoor music venue, Cesar Chavez Plaza, to chow down on tasty bites from local food trucks, enjoy DJ Joseph ONE spinning today’s greatest hits and be the first to celebrate the epic lineup planned for the free weekly summer festival.
