Downtown Sacramento Foundation
Fueling innovation in the Urban Core
The Downtown Sacramento Foundation (DSF) is dedicated to fostering civic pride through the improvement of the social and physical environment of Downtown. The DSF is a private, charitable 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
Our services complement Downtown Sacramento Partnership programs and provide elevated services for business development, public space management and beautification, homeless outreach and public safety. Through public and private partnerships, DSF develops programs to celebrate the cultural arts, create an active and attractive community and provide assistance for those in need.

2. Business Support Services:
Funds support resources provided to downtown small businesses and entrepreneurs retooling their storefront to continue operations and/or modify their business.
3. Homeless Outreach Services:
Funds support Homeless Outreach Navigators to identify homeless persons and connect them with local community service programs, care, and permanent housing.
Reaching New Lights: A new Iconic sign is coming to the historic Waterfront!
In 2021, we are fundraising exclusively to light the Sacramento skyline! The Old Sacramento Waterfront will soon have a new, unique landmark sign atop the California State Railroad Museum to greet visitors as they approach Downtown on Interstate 5.
The Downtown Sacramento Foundation has already raised nearly $85,000 for the sign from the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, California State Railroad Museum Foundation, Visit Sacramento, Harvego Family Foundation and Young Professionals of the Rotary Club of Sacramento. Already, these partners have committed just over half of the necessary funding to bring the sign to life!
You can help to light the Sacramento skyline too! Visit BigDayofGiving.org/DSF to learn more about donating to DSF.
