Dine Downtown Returns This January with 32 Participating Restaurants
(Nov. 21, 2019) – Downtown Sacramento Partnership today announced 32 restaurants will participate in the 15th annual Dine Downtown Restaurant Week, January 10 through January 20, 2020. A cost-effective way for local foodies and families to explore downtown and midtown Sacramento’s top restaurants, Dine Downtown presented by Kaiser Permanente showcases local chefs creating unique, 3-course prix fixe menus for only $40.
“Dine Downtown is an event that honors the many culinary talents that have made the heart of Sacramento their home,” said Michael Ault, executive director of Downtown Sacramento Partnership. “Guests have a chance to try new dining experiences and taste some of the most noteworthy restaurants in our region all while raising funds for two incredible local programs.”
Launched in 2005, Dine Downtown provides a significant boost for local restaurants during an otherwise slower period for the industry. In its 14-year run, Dine Downtown has generated nearly $6 million in restaurant sales for Central City restaurants. More than just a foodie favorite and economic boost for local restaurants, $1 from every Dine Downtown meal is donated to food literacy and social service programs operated by the Food Literacy Center and Hope Cooperative.
