Streaming service, Fandor opens in Downtown Sacramento

Fandor eager to utilize Sacramento engineering talent

SACRAMENTO, CA (May 27, 2015) — The Downtown Sacramento Partnership welcomes the new tech company Fandor to the Downtown Business District. Fandor, a streaming film service which specializes in independent, classic, foreign and cult cinema, opened earlier this month at 660 J Street in downtown Sacramento.

“We are excited to have companies like Fandor look to downtown Sacramento as a place to do business,” said DSP Executive Director Michael Ault. “Their expansion into the downtown market represents continued momentum of the core, the diversification of our workforce, and a testament to the caliber of talent we have in the region.”

Fandor is a streaming service with the biggest handpicked collection of the most-talked-about indie films from around the world. The move to Sacramento marks a time of growth for the four year-old company.
