Explore a vision of nature through the perspective of the artist, Tami Cooper, as she unveils her newest collection of landscape paintings at the Atrium.

Upcycled from rescued wood, Tami Cooper’s artwork is eco-conscious in both content and material. She repurposes used paintings and found boards to create original artworks. Using palette knives and heavy-bodied paint to create texture, the art is bold and vivid.

Cooper views the world through rose-colored glasses: she creates landscape paintings which reflect an optimistic and imaginative perspective. Skies are purple, mountains are orange, lakes are pink, and oceans are yellow – each painted scene is an expression of environmental hope. By envisioning an ideal and magical world, Cooper encourages viewers to imagine a future in which nature is defined by resilience and possibility. Her vibrant use of unexpected colors transforms familiar landscapes into dreamlike spaces that inspire viewers to build a brighter and more sustainable future.

The Rose Colored Glasses Exhibit runs from August 15th until September 11th.
