In partnership with the Old Sacramento Waterfront 3rd Thursday event, the Sacramento History Museum will be presenting a demonstration and craft making succulents from felt. This simple activity is for all ages, and you won’t have any water maintenance to keep it beautiful. The FREE program is from 4-8pm, on September 17th.
Is it hard for you to visit because your days are full – this is the one time a month, the museum is open in the evening! Join us for this month’s 3rd Thursday program and explore the many exhibitions within the museum. In addition to our permanent collections, we have the history of baseball in Sacramento with Play Ball: Sacramento in the National Pastime, including a special addition of the history of the River Cats; The Centennial Quilt with over 500 names of people who lived in Sacramento at the time – see who they are and learn their stories, visit the Mómtim Péwinan, River People, curated by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians Exhibits & Collections Center.
