June’s Summer Family Friday celebrates the playful art of self-fashioning and imaginative transformation. Inspired by the expressive possibilities of costume, performance, and personal style, this month’s program encourages children and caregivers to experiment with how we present ourselves to the world.
June’s program includes hands-on artmaking, a story time reading with Mrs. Bri from Wild Sisters Book Co., and a movement workshop with Sasha Kostyrko. Our program concludes with a performance of Jaquelyn and the Beanstalk by Possibly Puppets that combines a six-foot pop-up book, live acting, paper, pop-up and 3D puppets.
Kick off the sunshine months with Summer Family Fridays, an energetic art and performance experience designed for all ages! Move between hands-on artmaking, live performances, and activations in our studio classrooms. Creativity abounds at this multi-sensory family friendly program!
