After the workshop there will be a Free, open to the public presentation on the historical, cultural significance of Tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) and the importance of Tatreez as cultural preservation and act of resistance.   The workshop takes place in the exhibit space of Gaza Remains the Story, an adapted curation of exhibit originally curated in Birzeit, Palestine.

Two hour Tatreez ( Palestinian Embroidery) Workshop led by Dana Ammouri.  Fee $60/person with registration required.

Followed by FREE open to public presentation of History and culture of Tatreez with focus on Gaza and Tatreez as cultural preservation.
