It's back! Sacramento Pride March and Festival once again returns to Capitol Mall on the second weekend in June!
Sacramento Pride, the largest demonstration of LGBTQ+ activism and celebration of diversity in the region, takes center stage at the Capitol Mall, bringing together thousands in a vibrant display of solidarity and joy. This two-day festival unites LGBTQ+ community members and allies of all ages, races, sexual orientations, national origins, gender expressions, abilities, and religions. Together, we celebrate our progress in the fight for equality and recognize the ongoing efforts needed to achieve true cultural affirmation and social equity.
The two-day festival welcomes thousands of attendees and continues to grow each year. Sacramento Pride features a range of entertainment, educational workshops, and community engagement activities. From live music and performances to interactive booths and family-friendly zones, there’s something for everyone!
Hosted by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center, Sacramento Pride is notable for being one of the few Pride events in the nation organized by a nonprofit LGBTQ+ Community Center. Proceeds from the event support critical programs and life-saving services that uplift and empower our community.
