About the Instructor

Rooted by Rae is a Sacramento native who discovered macrame as a therapeutic outlet, which blossomed into a profound connection with her ancestral roots. Her artistic journey extends beyond macrame, encompassing other textile arts such as crochet, sewing, and various creative ventures. Through her work, Rae weaves together tradition and creativity, offering pieces that are not just art, but expressions of heritage and healing.
