The use of printmaking with mixed mediums and mixed techniques will expand your artistic horizons and bring your creativity to new and uncharted territories. This workshop will take you from printmaking with a gel plate, to collage and paper folding for bookmaking. In the process, you will experiment with acrylics, charcoals, oil pastels, crayons, found objects, embossed stencils and printed materials. This class is all about the creative process and discovery of new ways to approach making art.
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned artists. All materials are provided. Bring an apron or wear an old t-shirt.
About the Instructor
Franca is an Italian mixed media artist, living in Stockton, California. Her background is in psychology, philosophy and education. In the last few years, she has dedicated herself to art full-time and attended art classes at Delta college. Franca teaches art in Stockton and Sacramento.
