Created by artist Janine Mapurunga, Bien Juntitos (Well Together) is a bilingual oral history project about the Manitos, a group of Spanish-speaking elders that has existed in Sacramento for nearly 30 years.
We are making a documentary film and publishing a bilingual book with oral histories of 50 elders.
All funds from this event directly benefit our community project.
