A show about possible futures, maybe. A big map, small sculptures, big sheets of paper, big pencils, big fake books, free real stickers, free tiny notebooks, kids welcome. Inspired vaguely by written works by Kim Stanley Robinson and others. Come brainstorm about the future with us.

Tom Betthauser was born in San Francisco in 1987. He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2010 and the Yale School of Art in 2012. He taught art at colleges across northern and southern California for the better part of a decade and then began working as a software engineer during the COVID 19 pandemic. He has shown work internationally and has won multiple awards for his artwork at county and state fairs. He maintains his studio practice while working as a federal government contractor developing AI tools and continues to pursue teaching through private tutoring and volunteer opportunities. He lives and works in Sacramento, CA where he is focusing really hard on trying to be a good dad for an amazing 5 year old boy who will someday inherit the earth after the last remnants of industrial modernism fade into dust and are forgotten in the endless sands of time.
