Third Thursdays in Old Sacramento Waterfront

With summertime approaching, indoor events and activities are looking better and better. We have the perfect thing in mind for a group of friends, date night, or solo adventure. Every Third Thursday in Old Sacramento Waterfront, small business owners will open their doors to give you a peek behind the curtain, hosting 15 to 20 minute live demonstrations and artist activations at the top of every hour from 4–8 p.m. Starting June 19!
Learn from locals. Local artists, photographers, coffee connoisseurs, and more will be demonstrating their skill, trade, or art for free. You’ll get to observe, ask questions, and have fun.
How it works:
- Determine which workshops you’d like to attend from the list below (workshops will rotate every month)
- Make your way to your first desired workshop by 4:00PM
- Enjoy learning a new skill, trade, or artistry for 15 to 30 minutes
- Chat with the artist and make your way to the next workshop by 5:00PM
- The district is walkable and you’ll be able to walk from session to session. You can park in the Old Sacramento Garage
