Sacramento on Film: Celebrating 15 Years of California Revealed

An Archival Screening Night Fundraiser to support (and save!) California Revealed programs and services offered to heritage organizations statewide to digitize, preserve, and share their California history.

In partnership with the Center for Sacramento History, join California Revealed for a special screening of home movies, short films, and rare historic footage capturing over a century of life in the Sacramento region—all preserved from the archives. Hosted by the incomparable Matías Bombal, this night celebrates the people, places, and moments that shape our communities.

About California Revealed:
California Revealed is a statewide initiative that helps public libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other heritage groups digitize, preserve, and provide online access to archival materials documenting the state's histories, arts, and cultures. californiarevealed.org hosts more than 181,000 objects from over 450 partner organizations, free and accessible to the public.

About Center for Sacramento History:
Founded in 1953, the Center for Sacramento History educates and enriches the public by collecting, preserving, and making accessible the region’s vast cultural heritage. We are the official repository and research center for historical city and county government records, and we house collections from individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations that chronicle the history of the Sacramento region.
