Please note that all ticket sales are final and that refunds are not available. Your tickets are for the specific tour date and time you purchased only. They cannot be refunded or exchanged for a later or earlier tour.
This guided walking tour lasts approximately one hour and is recommended for those 8 years of age and older.
Tours run rain or shine; please dress for the weather outside. We recommend comfortable, closed-toe shoes for the uneven terrain of the tour.
Tickets are $35 per person
Who done it? Was it murder? Who’s to blame? Join the “ghosts” of early Sacramento and uncover what really happened! Beware of riverboat explosions, wily women, and colorful Gold Rush characters as you hear tales of how folks lived—and died—in our city.
This one-hour guided walking tour is recommended for ages 8 and older.

Begins at the Sacramento History Museum, 101 I Street, Old Sacramento
Arrive 10–15 minutes early; tours depart on time
No need to print tickets—your name will be on the list
Runs rain or shine; dress for the weather and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes
Parking available at the Old Sacramento Garage (2nd & I Streets) or nearby meters
All sales final; tickets valid only for the purchased date/time
No audio or video recording permitted
