National Tri Tip Day is dedicated to celebrating the 'California Cut,' a regional staple that serves as Buckhorn BBQ + Grill’s most iconic cut of beef.

Building on the success of its inaugural debut, March 20, 2026, marks the second annual National Tri Tip Day. The celebration includes a legendary lineup of offers.

800 Free Tri Tip Sandwiches
We're giving away our signature Char-Roasted Tri Tip Sandwich for FREE to the first 100 guests at each location (that's 800 sandwiches!). Doors open at 11 am, so come early and come hungry!

No purchase necessary. In-person only (no saving spots in line, calling ahead, or online ordering). Free sandwich is a 4 oz. medium rare Tri Tip Buck Sandwich.

$9.99 Tri Tip Sandwiches
For guests who miss out on the free sandwiches, the same signature Tri Tip Sandwich will be available for $9.99 all day, while supplies last.

The special $9.99 price applies to a 4 oz. Tri Tip Buck Sandwich. In-person only (dine-in and takeout). Limit 5 per guest. While supplies last.

Win Tri Tip for a Year
Buckhorn BBQ + Grill loyalty members can enter to win a year’s supply of Tri Tip at each restaurant, with a total of eight winners!

The loyalty program is free and easy to join. Limit one entry per guest, per location. Must be a loyalty member to enter and win. Winners must be able to pick up their free Whole Tri Tip cards at the location they submitted and won at. Prize is 12 Whole Tri Tips (one free Whole Tri Tip per month for one year).

$5 Beer
Guests can enjoy $5 draft beers all day with dine-in services, while supplies last.
