Northern California-based unclassifiable duo Misner & Smith return to Sacramento to make their debut at the Sofia Theatre. Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed new album, All is Song, the duo will share the stage with two of their main collaborators from the new record. Co-producer and multi-instrumentalist Bruce Kaphan (American Music Club, David Byrne, The Black Crowes) will be featured on pedal steel guitar, keyboards, and electric guitar and Oakland-based multi-instrumentalist Dillon Vado (Heart Matter) will be featured on drums. With All is Song Misner & Smith turn in their finest work to date blending elements of Americana music with rock, traditional folk, and more pop-leaning ideas. Inventive songwriting mirrored with an improvisatory spirit, combined with the beauty of their vocal harmonies, has made the band one of the most acclaimed and exciting acts in the Americana world today.
