Kick off the series with Harley White Jr., a Pulitzer Prize-nominated musician and composer. White pays homage to past jazz titans like Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong, while also pushing boundaries and experimenting with new sounds from funk and Latin traditions.

Sacramento’s long, hot summers are about to get even more sizzling! Enjoy live music in a loose, easygoing atmosphere at the Crocker’s Jazz Nights. This evening series presents five standout acts who celebrate the many facets of this quintessentially American musical genre, while also introducing the bold sounds shaping its future. Each concert consists of two 45-minute sets with a 15-minute intermission. During intermission, be sure to stretch your legs with a guided art chat in the galleries, shop the Museum Store, or grab a bite to eat.  and Louis Armstrong, while also pushing boundaries and experimenting with new sounds from funk and Latin traditions.
