A’s Thank Fans with Free Skate Days at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink
Three free skate activations celebrate the A’s community partnership and kick off excitement for the baseball season ahead
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (December 22, 2025) – The Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink is teaming up with the A’s to deliver three can’t-miss free skate days this winter. As a thank-you to fans and the Sacramento community, the A’s will sponsor free skating during select hours on three Saturdays in December and January, inviting guests to hit the ice, snap photos with Stomper, and celebrate the energy of baseball season right around the corner.
Located at the corner of 7th and K Streets, the rink offers a festive desitnation for families, couples, and friends looking to make the most of the cold winter days and make lasting memories downtown. These free skate days highlight the growing partnership between the A’s and the Sacramento region, offering fans a unique way to connect beyond the ballpark while creating lasting memories on the ice.
A’s Free Skate Days:
- Free Skate Presented by A’s: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27
The A’s are sponsoring the first 2 hours of skaters between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. To make the day even more special, Stomper will be on site to snap some pictures between skate sessions.

Ice Rink Hours and Pricing:
The price to skate is $15 for general admission and $8 for children ages 6 and under. Admission includes skate rental, and sizes run as small as 8 youth. Skaters can enjoy the rink from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays through Sundays (weather permitting).
