St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festivities in Old Sacramento Waterfront 2026
The Holiday District is at it again! It’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Sacramento’s favorite parade, Irish inspired dishes, and leprechaun hunt!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade | March 14th
Watch classic cars, creative floats, and festive dancers, and more march through the Old Sacramento Waterfront. Wear your green and arrive early as the streets fill up fast. Performances start at 11:30AM and the parade kicks off at 12:30PM on March 14th.

Taste of Ireland | March 1st – 22nd
Multiple Old Sacramento Waterfront coffee shops, eateries and retailers are offering a Taste of Ireland from March 1st – 22nd with Irish-inspired foods, beverages, merchandise, and experiences. Seasonal offerings include corned beef, Guinness drinks, festive swag, and Sean Finnegan’s Irish Pub will serving “Sacramento’s Best Irish Coffee.”

Leprechaun Hunt | March 1st – 17th
Grab your lucky four-leaf clover, your family, and come on down to Old Sacramento Waterfront to hunt some leprechauns who have hidden around our historic district.
Each leprechaun has a secret word that must be filled in on the activity pages to move on to the next hidden leprechaun. You’ll need to fill in each clue to solve the secret code at the end.
