St. Patrick’s Day Events in Downtown Sac

Sacramento loves St. Paddy’s Day! Not sure if it’s the corned beef, theme’d dress, or drinking in excess, but for all of the above, I’m in!

I’ll be emceeing the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Sacramento Waterfront shouting out our community parade participants and making dad jokes all afternoon. We recommend arriving early (11:00AM) to the parade as the streets get crowded and we want you to have the best seat. Not to mention there will be dancers, performers, and music starting at 11:30AM.

The parade kicks off at 12:30PM, which leaves you plenty of time to hunt the last of the leprechauns. Leprechaun Hunt ends Monday March 17th. Each leprechaun will have a corresponding secret word that must be filled in on the activity pages to move onto the next hidden leprechaun.  You’ll need to fill in each clue to solve the secret code at the end.

Fill out the riddle and submit the answers to enter our drawing for a grand prize: a $50 gift card to Bear & Crown. And if you’re really determined to find the pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow, complete the bonus riddle for a chance to win 4 tickets to Underground Minigolf!

Pre-Parade Performances: 11:30AM – 12:30PM

Parade time: 12:30PM – 1:30PM 

After the parade it’s time to GET DOWN at the St. Patrick’s Day Block Party feat. Chromeo and Amtrac in Ali Youseffi Square. You can still use code: DOWNTOWNSAC to get half-off your ticket. This block party is always a hit but this year there will be a bigger stage, bigger production, and legendary acts along with your favorite local DJs: ROBBIE, Shino Smoke, DJ Epik, Billy Lane, and DJ Hopkins…all BACK TO BACK! This event is also in partnership with Malt and Mash, downtown’s favorite Irish Pub.
