Calling All Dreamers Winners Open Storefronts
So much can change in a year. You can get fired then hired at your dream job. You can travel the world. You can learn a new language. In a year, so much can change and so much can stay the same.
In the case of these entrepreneurs, in the span of a year, they opened their first brick and mortar storefronts.
Applications for our Calling All Dreamers business incubator program just opened on August 1st. Last August, Hope, the creator and founder of Ecojoyous, applied to be a part of Calling All Dreamers. She was the runner-up, winning $10,000, and is having her grand opening of her eco-friendly refillery in Old Sacramento this Friday. At her shop you can find artisan made candles, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and other sustainable goods.
A favorite in our office, Flora & Fauna Provisions opened their street-level cafe last November after finishing their season of Calling All Dreamers in 2023. Since their grand opening, they have seen every season of produce, showcased multiple specialty lattes, and impressed everyone with their housemade bagels.
Another Calling All Dreamers finalist who has opened a storefront in the last year is Bob at Burnside Coffee Bar. His model of hand-pulled shots, hand-shaken iced coffees with quality ingredients is so Sacramento. They’re currently in a remodel but you can visit their pop-up at Anchor & Tree Coffee Roasting Co.
If you have a business plan you believe in, apply to Calling All Dreamers today. Your life could look a whole lot different in a year.
