Bodega Book Nook

Enjoy a cozy reading space with live music that’s outdoors, shaded, and lunch options just steps away. This reading space is for all to enjoy. You can bring your own book or pick one up from our mobile book carts (we accept donations if you’re looking to off-load your shelves).

Market Movement by Yoga Moves Us

Relish in Sacramento’s tree canopy while stretching your limbs, soaking up the sun, and taking care of yourself. Yoga Moves Us will lead a group in a 30 minute session at 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM, curated for office workers; a change of clothing is optional but not required.

 

Every Other Thursday:

Donation Drop Offs | First Step Communities

First Step Communities helps to meet the needs of our homeless community. Drop offs every Thursday during Bodega Market hours.

 

Needs for clothing and hygiene items:

  • Mens Clothes (L-2XL) & 10-13 Sized Shoes
  • Un-opened hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner, body wash and lotion, deodorant, hairbrush, soap, feminine products etc.)
  • New undergarments
  • Socks and Shoes
  • Dog food, leashes and collars, toys
  • Blankets
  • Bath towels
  • Casual summer clothing
  • Sunscreen, umbrellas, cooling towels, electrolytes, water, hats, dog protective boots

Donation Drop Offs | Front Street Animal Shelter

The Front Street Animal Shelter serves the City of Sacramento to shelter lost and stray animals while enforcing local and state animal welfare laws. Drop offs every Thursday during Bodega Market hours.

 

  • Bath/wading/splash pool (small, foldable/collapsible)
  • Cat toys
  • Dryer sheets
  • Towels
  • Blankets
  • Dog houses (any size. new or gently used. solid sides. floor and roof required.)
  • Dog toys (preferably durable)
  • Pet Treats (especially small, soft treats)
  • Plastic travel crates / pet carriers
  • Dry cat food and dry dog food (unopened and opened)
  • Canned cat food and dog food (unopened only)
  • Collars and leashes (new or gently used)
