Concerts in the Park Returns This Friday

May 1 kicks off nine weeks of free live music and summer fun in downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. (April 27, 2026) – Downtown Sacramento Partnership invites media to capture the return of Concerts in the Park this Friday, May 1, as the beloved summer concert series launches its 33rd season.

Opening Night sets the tone for nine weeks of high-energy Friday evenings. From the first note to the final set, the park comes to life with live music, local food vendors, pop-up activations, and community experiences. And the night doesn’t end there – once performances conclude at 9:30 p.m., guests can continue the experience at CIP After Dark with Concerts in the Park themed drinks at select bars and restaurants.
