Summer Vendor Applications

Apply to be a vendor at our summer events: Capitol Mall Farmer’s Market, Bodega Market, and Concerts in the Park.

2026 Summer Vendor Application (English)

Downtown Sacramento Partnership will be accepting vendor applications from January 12 – February 13, 2026, for all summer events. All vendors will be notified as to which event(s) they have been approved to participate in by the first week of March. Following the approval window, all remaining applicants will be placed on a vendor waiting list. Vendors will be selected based on available space, tenant mix, and past involvement at the discretion of Downtown Partnership.

If you are interested in being a vendor at any Downtown Partnership event you must submit the following documents with your vendor application:

ALL VENDORS WILL NEED TO PROVIDE:

SELLERS PERMIT – Board of Equalization: (800) 400-7115
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE – All vendors are required to carry a minimum $1,000,000 general liability
- The “Downtown Sacramento Partnership and City of Sacramento” must be listed as the certificate holder with an address of 980 9th , Suite 200 Sacramento, CA 95814.
- An endorsement naming “The Downtown Sacramento Partnership and the City of Sacramento, its officials, agents, employee and volunteers” must accompany the certificate of insurance.
PHOTOS – Photo of your booth set up AND menu of products with pricing.
APPLICATION FEE – $35.00 (payment must be made online) This is a one-time fee.

CERTIFIED PRODUCER’S CERTIFICATE – Farmers are required to have a certified producer’s certificate that is authorized in Sacramento County

What type of vendor are you?(Required)

We cannot permit ‘grocery store’ items at the Capitol Mall Farmers Market. All vendors must be selling ready to consume goods.

The following rules will be strongly enforced.

Downtown Partnership will invoice all vendors monthly. Full payment must be received by the 5th of the month. If payment is not received by the 5th, a $50 late fee will be added to your balance due.
All vendors must clean up after themselves. We will charge $50 per market for any garbage left onsite.
Late vendors will not be permitted into the park due to safety regulations mandated by the City.

Bodega Market

What type of vendor are you?(Required)

All hot food vendors must be selling ready to consume goods at the Bodega Market.

The following rules will be strongly enforced.

Downtown Partnership will invoice all vendors monthly. Full payment must be received by the 5th of the month. If payment is not received by the 5th, a $50 late fee will be added to your balance due.
All vendors must clean up after themselves. We will charge $50 per market for any garbage left onsite.
Late vendors will not be permitted into the park due to safety regulations mandated by the City.

Concerts in the Park

What type of vendor are you?(Required)

All hot food vendors must be selling ready to consume goods at Concerts in the Park.

As a vendor participating in a Downtown Sacramento Partnership event, I agree to, understand, and will be held responsible for all of the below. The Downtown Partnership reserves the right to remove any vendor who does not comply with any of the following.

VENDOR APPROVAL PROCESS:
1. Downtown Sacramento Partnership will accept applications January 12, 2026 – February 13, 2026.
2. The application fee and required permits are due when application is turned in.
3. All vendors will be notified by email as to which event(s) they have been approved to participate in by the first week of March.
4. Vendors will be selected according to available space, tenant mix, and past involvement at the discretion of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership.

PAYMENTS:
1. Vendors are invoiced monthly for all participating events and receive their invoices via email.
2. Invoices are sent out 30 days prior from due date.
3. Open invoices are due and payable by the 5th of the month.
4. If payment in full is not received by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership (Company) by the applicable due date, then without limiting Company’s rights, the following will be applicable written in Late Fees.

LATE FEES:
1. COMPANY may charge VENDOR a late fee equal to 15% of the amount of the invoice or $50.00, whichever is greater, for each invoice not paid within 10 days of the due date.
2. Should VENDOR fail to pay invoice in full, including applicable late fees, within 60 days of the original invoice due date, COMPANY reserves the right to terminate VENDOR’S participation in all company events.
3. COMPANY has the right to ban VENDOR for a period no less than 6 months following full payment.
4. If Vendor has submitted payment in advance of event dates and fails to participate in the event, the submitted fees are forfeit and non-refundable.
5. Payments can be made to the Company by cash, check payable to “Downtown Sacramento Partnership”, or credit card. Invoice Number or event date should be included in the memo field of payments by check.

As a vendor participating in a Downtown Sacramento Partnership event, I agree to, understand, and will be held responsible for all the below. The Downtown Partnership reserves the right to remove any vendor who does not comply with any of the following.

PROFESSIONAL COURTESY:
1. All vendors participating in a Downtown Partnership event are expected to maintain a level of professional courtesy to all event participants.
2. Vendors should not consume alcohol during events, especially when operating equipment or vehicles.

CLEAN-UP:
1. All trash must be bagged and deposited in the trash cans. If the trash cans on site are full, it is the vendor’s responsibility to discard of their trash properly off-site.
2. Vendors are responsible for the condition of their areas during and after the event.
3. Coals need to be extinguished and disposed of responsibly.
4. Grease from BBQ’s or any other liquids from cooking must be cleaned up before leaving.
5. A minimum $50.00 fine will apply for any clean up necessary after the vendor has vacated the area

SPACE ASSIGNMENT:
1. Vendor spaces are l0’xl0′. If vendor exceeds the l0’xl0′ spacing assignment by 2 or more feet, vendor will be required to pay an additional $50 for their vendor space.
2. Notification of approval and vendor location assignments will be sent by email.
3. Heat-generating appliances require at least a 10-foot clearance around the booth.
4. Electricity (110 V) is very limited and usage may be available upon approval by Downtown Partnership. Food vendor applications must be accompanied with plug and wattage request. You must bring your own extension cords. All extension cords must be commercial grade.
5. Cesar Chavez Plaza is the only park with electricity available. Vendors must be pre-approved to use the park outlets.
6. Generators must be approved by Downtown Partnership prior to event start and must have a noise level of less than 59dB.

As a vendor participating in a Downtown Sacramento Partnership event, I agree to, understand, and will be held responsible for all the below. The Downtown Partnership reserves the right to remove any vendor who does not comply with any of the following.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SALES/HEALTH PERMITS:
1. Alcoholic beverage sales are strictly prohibited.
2. Food must be prepared and sold in compliance with the Sacramento County Health Department. Any unresolved infractions will result in immediate closure of vendor booth.
3. All vendors must have a Multi-Event Sacramento County Health Permit.
4. Sacramento County Health Department permits must be displayed at food booths at all times.

LIABILITY:
1. All vendors are required to carry a minimum $1,000,000 general liability insurance.
a. The “Downtown Sacramento Partnership and City of Sacramento” must be listed as the certificate holder with an address of 980 9th St. Suite 200 Sacramento, CA 95814.
b. An endorsement naming “The Downtown Sacramento Partnership and the City of Sacramento, its officials, agents, employees and volunteers” must accompany the certificate of insurance.
2. Vendor agrees to hold harmless, the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, their staff, and the City of Sacramento for losses of any kind, whether by fire, theft, physical violence, elements of nature, or any other cause.
