Bodega Book Club
Once a month take part in our book club where we will read books that explore human connections, personal journeys, and family relationships with depth and sensitivity. Additionally, every week enjoy a cozy reading space within the park to eat lunch and have some time to wander into another world.

Market Movement by Yoga Moves Us
Relish in Sacramento’s tree canopy while stretching your limbs, soaking up the sun, and taking care of yourself. Yoga Moves Us will lead a group in a 20 minute session, 12:15 PM – 12:40 PM curated for office workers; a change of clothing is optional but not required.

Donation Drop Off
Our Downtown Resource Coordinators (DRC) directly assist people experiencing homelessness in collaboration with the city’s Department of Community Response. These donations will be split evenly between our DRC team and First Step Communities to meet the needs of our community.
Drop offs can be made every Thursday 10:30AM–1:30PM at the Downtown Sac tent.
Needs for clothing and hygiene items:
- Mens Clothes (L-2XL) & 10-13 Sized Shoes
- Un-opened hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner, body wash and lotion, deodorant, hairbrush, soap, feminine products etc.)
- New undergarments
- Socks and Shoes
- Dog food, leashes and collars, toys
- Blankets
- Bath towels
- Casual summer clothing
- Sunscreen, umbrellas, cooling towels, electrolytes, water, hats, dog protective boots
