Save the Date: Downtown Sacramento Partnership Announces 2026 State of Downtown Event for February 24

Event to outline priorities and initiatives shaping “Downtown’s Next Decade” following Downtown Sacramento Partnership’s 10-year renewal

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. (Dec. 18, 2025) – Downtown Sacramento Partnership will host its annual State of Downtown event on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. Presented by the Sacramento Kings, the signature program brings together public officials, business leaders, and community partners to discuss the current state and future direction of downtown Sacramento.

This year’s program takes on added significance following the Downtown Sacramento Partnership’s recent renewal for another 10 years. The Partnership will use the 2026 State of Downtown to introduce and frame the priorities, strategies, and initiatives that will guide the next decade of investment in Sacramento’s urban core. Reflecting this moment, the theme for the event – “Downtown’s Next Decade” – sets the stage to share a vision for the next 10 years, outlining how the Partnership is taking the reins on building the foundation of a clean and safe central city while, alongside its partners, curating a vibrant 24-hour destination where innovation, culture, and commerce converge.
