The use of mixed techniques and mixed mediums expands the horizon of creativity into new and uncharted territories. This class is about experimenting, it’s about the processes and the discovery of fresh new ways to approach making art. In these workshops, we will produce monoprints with the use of gel plate, synthetic papers, acrylic paints as well as charcoals, and pastels; we’ll learn how to emboss to create stencils; we will utilize found objects and make collagraphs and collages. All materials are provided. You’ll need to wear an apron or an old t-shirt.
