Have you been clay mold-curious but apprehensive about getting started? Just relax! We’ll take your practice in a new ceramic direction. Molds are simple forms used to help shape, sculpt and build with clay. In this two-day eight-hour workshop, participants will get hands-on experience exploring the processes and options. We’ll demonstrate press molds, drape molds, slump molds and slip-casting with and without plaster. We’ll cover the tools and supplies you’ll need to continue your mold practice. This is a project-based workshop, so you’ll come away with a creation of your own. Start thinking about the possibilities and sign up today.
