Through the lens of a camera, we see the struggles Chinese immigrants endured during the late 1800s through the mid 1900s and how they overcame adversity.

The exhibition will also focus on the Delta town of Locke, built by Chinese Americans for Chinese Americans. From the ashes of a fire in Walnut Grove, the Chinese started building anew in 1912. They persevered by reclaiming the flood lands for agriculture, creating a sanctuary and building a community in a time when they were discriminated against, and the laws were stacked against them.
