This exhibition, held in conjunction with Sacramento Photography Month, features the work of local high school and college students exploring the theme of “Barriers and Bridges.” Students were invited to submit photographs that reflect the concept of barriers—whether physical, emotional, social, or cultural—and the bridges that help overcome them. The show will showcase approximately 25-30 selected images, with cash prizes for the top three winners.

The exhibit runs from April 9 to May 3, 2025, at Viewpoint’s Step-Up Gallery, and highlights the powerful stories that students have captured through their photography.
