Lineup for 2019 Concerts in the Park Season Announced
(March 27, 2019) — One of the most anticipated music rosters of the year, the 12-week free concert series will feature nationally acclaimed artists like Souls of Mischief and SHAED alongside with the region’s top artists including Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers in his first headlining appearance. Featuring an impressive mix of talent and genres alongside local DJs spinning on the Mill at Broadway DJ Stage, the free weekly summer festival returns to the heart of downtown Sacramento on Fridays, 5 to 9 p.m., May 3 through July 26 (no concert July 5) at Cesar Chavez Plaza.
“Concerts in the Park continues to bring a high caliber of national and regional talent while providing a stage for hometown favorites,” said Michael Ault, Executive Director of Downtown Sacramento Partnership. “Concerts in the Park is truly something special. We’ve curated a real festival experience with some of the biggest names in music rocking the park. It’s just a good time!”
Concerts in the Park presented by Dignity Health will also feature weekly activations including live art, theme nights, special appearances, a rotating lineup of local food trucks, boutique vendors and cold drinks from the Bud Light bar.
