Lisa Martinez promoted to Director of Project Management

Lisa MartinezLast month, Lisa Martinez assumed a new role at DSP as Director of Project Management. This position will help the Downtown Sacramento Partnership (DSP) take new ideas and put them into action.

Martinez has been an integral part of DSP’s leadership team. Over the last decade, she’s served as our Director of Marketing and cultivated Downtown and DSP’s brand through logo and website development, cultivation of  digital communities on social media, creation of our award winning Dine Downtown Week, rebrand of the Ice Rink and Concerts in the Park, and launch of district branding initiatives for The Kay and the Dreamers campaign. Most recently she oversaw the relaunch of our website www.downtownsac.org and creative direction of our #SacramentoRising video from the State of Downtown. She has also served as DSP’s public information officer managing media relations and community outreach campaigns for the PBID.

In her new role, Martinez will support the development of new and emerging programs that serve the strategic mission of the DSP. This includes administering and developing the Downtown Sacramento Foundation, our 501c3 arm. She will work closely with all DSP departments and consult on special projects, assist with tactical execution plans, and manage outcomes. In the short term, she’ll support DSP’s PBID renewal campaign, Calling All Dreamers competition, support ongoing arena project outreach, develop our Office Market Study action plan and manage organizational development projects.
