Downtown: Real Time is the theme for the 2011 contest and calendar. Photos should capture quintessential downtown experiences, events and places in a unique, artistic or innovative way.

Calling All Photographers!

The Downtown Sacramento Partnership seeks local photographers to participate in our annual Downtown Photo Contest. Submit a photo that illustrates your favorite reason to be downtown for a chance to have your photo and byline featured in the 2011 Downtown Calendar and be eligible to win a Downtown prize package (valued at $50). This year, each entrant can submit up to 15 photos total, up to 3 photos in any given category. Successful photographs generally communicate activity or feature subjects and events from a fresh, new perspective. Photos of Downtown architecture are allowed only if they enhance or contextualize Downtown activity. DSP is especially interested in capturing the following downtown amenities and activities:

About the Calendar

The purpose of the downtown photo contest and calendar is to showcase Downtown Sacramento’s best assets and to promote Downtown as a vibrant regional destination for entertainment, culture and commerce.
